Pneumatically Sealed Drum Cover
  • Eliminates air and dust leaks
  • For dust collecting and drum filling applications

MikroPul's PneumaFill™:  A Simple Solution to a Common Problem

Even if you have a state-of-the-art dust collection system, its performance can be compromised by air leaks at the discharge point. Such leaks are commonly caused by:

  • Out-of-round or dented drums
  • Worn rotary valves
  • Poorly designed drum covers

These occurrences usually lead to the following significant problems:

  1. Reduced air flow at hood
  2. Increased P due to reintrainment
  3. Higher energy costs
  4. Possible compliance difficulties at the discharge area

The patented PneumaFill™ Drum Cover solves these problems once and for all. Its flexible pneumatic seal conforms to dents, warpage and other irregularities caused by routine handling. The result is an airtight seal that insures the integrity and efficiency of the system.

Features

  • Simple construction-only one moving part
  • Light weight-easy to handle and position
  • Virtually leakproof-ideal for difficult materials
  • Self-aligning-works on bent and warped 55 gal. drums of all sizes
  • Versatile: can be used with plastic bag liners

Applications

Dust collecting. The PneumaFill™ costs less than a rotary valve, is much less prone to wear in abrasive environments and has negligible energy requirements. It can also serve as a secondary seal for worn and leaky rotary valves or feeders.

Drum filling. Quick sealing means speedy drum changes. The MikroPul is available with a vent nozzle for such applications.

Air Requirements
